The Royal Canadian mint has commemorated the 2010 winter Olympic games, held in Vancouver, British Colombia, with this 1 oz 99.99 pure gold coin.

Depicted on the reverse side is Canada’s national symbol, the Maple leaf with the 2010 Unique Olympic logo, “llanaaq the Inukshuk” integrated into the image.
The five Olympic rings are displayed below, with the addition of the host city, “Vancouver 2010”.
This coin’s obverse displays Susanna Blunt’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with great detail.
The Queen’s title, the coin’s year of issue, and 50 dollar denominational value also accompany the effigy.
