Modeled after Augustus Saint Gauden’s Indian Head Gold Eagle design. The design is as controversial as it is iconic, as Lady Liberty was re-imaged by Gaudens, to bear a Native American Headdress rather than her usual Phrygian cap in homage to the indigenous peoples of the land.

The reverse bears the depiction of Lady Liberty, as she dons a Native American headdress, with the inscription of “Liberty.” The image was designed in the exact likeness of the original, and is displayed over a blank coin field, while thirteen stars, indicative of the thirteen original colonies of the United States, are observed above Lady Liberty.

The obverse portrays a bald eagle, perched upon an olive branch as it surveys its domain, once again over a blank field. The Silvertowne logo features prominently below.
