The war the Pacific was the final, necessary step in the World War II as Japan was the final axis superpower to concede defeat. The Pacific theater of War staged some of the bloodiest and most depleting battles of World War II, over a gruesome, nearly four year time span. The allied forces of the United States, Australia, and China, took on Japan and Thailand resulting in tens of millions of both military and civilian causalities. Ultimately, on September 2, 1945, delegates on behalf of Japan boarded the United States vessel, the USS Missouri to concede defeat, culminating in the cessation of World War II. ABOUT THE PERTH MINT
