The 1714 Succession of the British Crown to King George I of Hannover signified the commencement of the House of Hannover as the rulers of the British Monarchy. As a noble house, which ruled in Germany, Great Britain, at various stages in history, their heraldic symbology is signified by a beautiful white stallion.

With the ninth release in the international acclaimed Queen's Beast's series of the Royal Mint, the house of Hannover is commemorated on this beautifully crafted 1 oz, 9999 pure gold coin.

Contained on the reverse, The White Horse of Hanover is seen in a courbette position, with its hind legs firmly planted, with its front legs elevated. Three lions of England, Lion of Scotland, Fleur-de-lis of France, and Irish Harp, exemplify the unity of the British Royal monarchy and are visible in the first three quadrants. The fourth quadrant contains two further lions for England, one lion for Scotland, the White Horse of Hanover, and King Charlemagne's Holy Crown of the Holy Roman Empire, superimposed in the center. The beauty of the reverse side is enhanced with a guilloche patterned background, which has been encapsulated by the heraldic beast's title, with the weight, purity, and year of issue, also seen.

Illustrated on the obverse, is Jody Clarke's modern effigy of her majesty with meticulous attention to detail. The Queen's likeness is centered with a distinctive, circular guilloche patterned field, with the denominational value and her title as encapsulation.
