Minted from 1878-1904, and again in 1921, the Morgan Silver dollar is one of the most collectible coins available.

This silver dollar served as actual currency in circulation for several decades and thus has both historical value in addition to being a liquid asset.

The obverse of this coin features the left portrait of Anna Willes Williams, who served as the inspiration for the new, American inspired rendition of Lady Liberty.

Her head is adorned with a “Liberty” crown, while the words “out of many, one” is displayed above in Latin.

Thirteen stars which represent the original American colonies and the year of issue are also held on this side.

The reverse shows the quintessential symbol of America, the bald eagle with outspread wings, clutching a bundle of arrows in one talon, while an olive branch is held in the other.

The eagle is encapsulated by the coins country of issue and denominational value, “In God we trust” can also be seen above the eagles head.
