One of two luxurious offerings in the 2023 Opulence collection, Harmonious invites the viewer to find beauty in strength and resolve. Its bejewelled reverse is adorned with pink diamonds from the Argyle Mine, that are among the world’s rarest gemstones. They add spellbinding sparkle to the platinum coin’s cherry blossoms and stylized tree, whose engraved roots are the grounded pathways that lead to happiness and harmony; and to the diamond-laden frame that radiates vitality and optimism.

PACKAGING

Crafted by Manubois, the custom cabinet-style case features a polished piano finish and silver hardware. Inside the case, your Harmonious coin lies safely nestled in a removable insert; it also comes with a frame equipped with protective plexi-glass, a bracket for hanging on the wall, and an easel feature allowing for easy upright display. An additional tray holds a cleaning cloth and a pair of black gloves for safe handling.

Your coin comes with a welcome letter hand-signed by the CEO of the Royal Canadian Mint, as well as two certificates of authenticity: one from diamond manufacturer Crossworks Manufacturing, and another in the form of a serialized booklet from the Royal Canadian Mint.

Coveted for their colourful sparkle, your Harmonious coin is adorned with pink diamonds (1 ctw) from the Argyle Mine, some of the world’s rarest gemstones.

ROSE GOLD PLATING

The perfect complement to the pink diamonds and cherry blossom theme, selective rose gold plating amplifies the stones’ famously colourful sparkle.

THE PUREST PLATINUM

Your coin was crafted in 2 oz. of 99.95% pure platinum – a precious metal that is rarer than gold and prized for its white-silver shine.

Selectively plated with rose gold, your coin’s reverse was designed by artist Aries Cheung. It features pink diamonds from the Argyle mine (total carat weight of approximately 1.00), elegantly mounted in jewellery settings fashioned by Beverly Hills Jewellers. Lining the coin’s edge, the gemstones also form a sparkling representation of a flowering cherry blossom tree as a holistic system, with the roots (resources), trunk (support) and stems (nurturing) symbolizing the transformation and growth that lead to harmony. The obverse features a stylized cherry blossom pattern, selective rose gold plating and the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. The obverse also bears a special marking that includes four pearls symbolizing the four effigies that have graced Canadian coins and the double date of her reign.
