The war the Pacific was the final, necessary step in the World War II as Japan was the final axis superpower to concede defeat. The Pacific theater of War staged some of the bloodiest and most depleting battles of World War II, over a gruesome, nearly four year time span. The allied forces of the United States, Australia, and China, took on Japan and Thailand resulting in tens of millions of both military and civilian causalities. Ultimately, on September 2, 1945, delegates on behalf of Japan boarded the United States vessel, the USS Missouri to concede defeat, culminating in the cessation of World War II. This Brilliant, Uncirculated 1/2 oz 9999 pure silver coin pays homage to the tens of millions of soldiers and innocent civilians who perished throughout this battle.

On the reverse side, the quintessential symbol of America, a powerful bald eagle is illustrated bearing an olive branch as it touches down. The Landing eagle symbolizes the strength, fortitude, and sacrifice of all the allied forces who fought gallantly for victory. Stars and stripes are expertly engraved in the coin's background, while "Victory In The Pacific" and "1945" feature as the coins encapsulation.

The Obverse side represents the Australian contribution to the War in the Pacific, as the bust of her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, is seen. The Queen's effigy is surrounded by her title, the coin's weight, and purity.
