The obverse feature, also cleverly reverse frosted, is an effigy of Elizabeth II in profile, delivered in great detail, down to the jewels of her crown and the hairs of her head. Elizabeth II's name also appears on the obverse, as well as the BVI legend and the coin's year of issue.
