The Arabian horse originates from the Arabian Peninsula. It is one of the most easily recognizable horse breeds in the world due to its distinctive head shape and high tail carriage. It is also a bit smaller than other horse breeds that are more common in areas such as North America. Due to this, it is thought to be daintier and weaker; however, the Arabian horse has a stronger bone density than most breeds and is quite physically capable.

Many of this breed's characteristics are tied to an ancient religious or superstitious belief, as this horse was highly revered throughout history in many cultures. It was praised for its ability to pass on physical traits to other horse breeds and allowed empires to grow astronomically. As empires rose and fell, the Arabian horse was used for many travels and conquerings, leading to many European horse breeds changing physically. Heavier draft breeds became more refined, and smaller ponies gained more height due to these cross-breedings. Today, the Arabian horse is still highly revered for its beauty and physical agility.
