The Danish Kroner is a highly sought after and collectible coin due to its rarity and limited availability. With a 22 karat fineness, these sovereigns are highly sought after for there immense historical value, in addition to their gold content. This limited edition set provides you with sovereigns of two different eras, that of King Friedrich VIII, who had Kroner minted from 1908 until 1912 and his first son, Christian X, who's Kroner were created from 1913 until 1917 and will include a coin from each year. With a 58 year mint period, many were taken out of circulation, damaged or lost, making them highly collectible.

On the top row of the obverse side is the right-facing profile of King Freidrich VIII, who ascended to the throne at 62 years old. King Freidrich's lineage maintains a high pedigree, with descendants who served as the royal families of Norway, Belgium, and Luxembourg. The bottom row contains the right-facing profile of his son, who took reign and ascended to the throne following his father's death and reigned through the perilous times of World War II.

The reverse side displays the Royal Danish coat of arms. The presentation is enhanced by stylized gold lettering, which includes the monarch's name and the coin's year of issue.
