The Canadian wilderness is conveyed in spectacular fashion on 9999 pure silver, with a beautiful proof finish. Pierre Leduc’s stunning illustration is stunningly brought to life with the use of expert engraving and meticulous attention to detail. The special edition, Primal Predator series coins, enhance both quality and presentation, with a mint issued maple wood box, a mint issued coin encapsulation, serialized certificate of authenticity and a minimal mintage of only 400 coins ever produced.

Illustrated on the reverse is Canadian Wilderness artist Pierre Leduc’s beautifully adapted rendition of a Canadian Grizzly bear hunting a salmon in the fresh waters of the Canadian wilderness. The intensity and ferocity are conveyed with the use of skillful etching and engraving, which brings the image to life. The Canadian Wilderness is accurately conveyed in the field of the coin, with the nation of issue as the legend.

Contained on the obverse is Susanna Blunt’s contemporary rendition of her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, over a blank field. The Queen is encapsulated by the year of issue, the Queen’s title, and the coin’s 125-dollar face value.

ABOUT THE ROYAL CANADIAN MINT

The Royal Canadian Mint is known as one of the most reputable mints in the world. The Ottawa Branch of the Royal Mint opened in 1908 and was renamed The Royal Canadian Mint in 1931 when control was transferred to the Canadian government. Their high standards for excellence and quality allowed them to be the first refinery to manufacture 9999 fine gold bullion coins in 1982, as well as the first to reach 99999 fine gold purity in 1998.
