These ultra rare mint error rounds are part of a small batch that we received from Golden State Mint.
They are definitely 1/4 troy ounce of silver, but when struck at the mint they used the reverse side die from the 1/4 oz copper rounds!
Instead of being stamped as "1/4 troy oz 999 Fine Silver" they are stamped as "1/4 ounce 999 Fine Copper".
Patterned after the $2.50 & $5.00 Indian Head Gold Coin Minted from 1908 to 1929, the last year of minting shown on this Round.
Note the mirror-like fields around the design images, denoting very high quality.
Mint error bullion items are highly sought after collector's items, order yours before we have sold out!
